Beautiful Old Palace in the center of Colle Val D'Elsa.
The Hotel is huge, very clean. The bedroom ist really nice, one of the best I've ever seen, really large, with a big and confortable bathroom. There are big windows that watch the beautiful Tuscany hills. And its very silent. Oustide there is a big park with pool, beds. umbrella, bar service. The breakfast its really complete and good.
the staff its gently and nice.
What else? If you are around Siena, go at Hotel Palazzo San Lorenzo for relax with charme.

My wife and I spent seven nights here on a half-board basis on a Riviera Travel holiday (Tuscany, Florence and Siena). It is a very good hotel, initially feeling a bit like a rabbit warren with its corridors. On arrival and throughout our stay we found the reception staff very helpful. Our room was of a good size with a large double bed, adequate wardrobe and drawer space, a table and chairs and a large flatscreen TV. The bathroom had a sink, toilet, bidet, bath and walk-in shower. There were flannels, hand towels, bath towels and pool towels. There were plenty of complimentary toiletries. Bedding and towels were changed daily. Breakfasts consisted of a choice of fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruits, various cereals, breads, pastries and preserves plus a choice of coffees and teas. Hot food and continental meats and cheeses were also available. Dinners were included in our holiday and consisted of a set three course meal every night taken in a separate dining area; the food was enjoyable. For guests not on such a package holiday the restaurant offers a much wider evening menu. The hotel has a spa and indoor pool, and also a nice outdoor pool with sun-loungers and umbrellas, surrounded by a grass area with tables and chairs. Would we return if we were visiting Tuscany again? Yes.

This is a well situated and comfortable hotel. Everything from the reception to bedroom, restaurant and pool is first class. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation. The only suggestion I would make is to change the restaurant menu at least weekly.

Stayed here recently for two nights. The family suite was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping were very quick and effective, having our room freshened up by the time we returned from breakfast. Docked one star as the breakfast was very average and not the freshest. The variety of food was very extensive at the expense of quality. A smaller selection would f higher quality ingredients would work better and seemed to be more the norm in other Italian hotels we stayed at. We did not dine at the hotel in the evening based on poor breakfast, but there are some fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The drinks service at the pool was nice, but pricey. Also, some websites implied there was laundry available at this hotel. There is not an onsite laundry, but they send it off site at a per item cost with very high cost. There are several convenient self service laundries in the town though.

A definite gem
The hotel is lovely, well situated and walking distance from town and good restaurants
Beds were comfortable and quality sheets and towels, breakfast buffet was plentiful and filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries
